Born in 1958 in the Netherlands and living in the Var region since 1980, Yette is a self-taught artist. Her techniques include oil-painting, watercolor, and more recently the exploring of ink in all its forms. She spent part of her life in an old stone farmhouse in the Massif des Maures. Later, at the Tourist Office in Cavalaire, she often spoke about the remarkable villages of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, especially Grimaud, Gassin with its charming streets, and Plan de la Tour, to inspire tourists to explore them for themselves. Agathe Yette has been drawing her whole life, but it’s only now that she has found the time to truly devote herself to creating and flourishing in her art. Drawing both the visible and the invisible aspects of life, such as joy, light, and the wonder of the moment… « The idea is to transmit happiness through my work. » This exhibition is an opportunity to share her joy of life and positive energy through watercolors and sketches designed to make you smile! These moments of sharing give us a deep sense of connection to the history and vibrant life of Provence.
